Fresh Guatemalan coffees have arrived once again, and we’re thrilled to welcome back one of our favorites! This year’s harvest opens with bright notes of grapefruit and subtle pineapple, unfolding into a honey sweetness and a gentle cherry liqueur finish. The cup’s creamy, syrupy texture ties everything together — lively, balanced, and endlessly comforting.

Each pound of this coffee was purchased at a price that fully covers the farmer’s cost of production, ensuring a fair return for the labor and effort that makes coffees like this possible. This approach, known as Cost of Production Covered (CoPC), eliminates unnecessary financial risk for the producer and builds a more stable, transparent supply chain — one that balances equity and quality in every cup.

The CoPC model was originally developed in 2017 through the collaboration of Andrés Fahsen of Pachuj – Finca Patzibir in Atitlán, Guatemala, Cristy Guirola of Terra Negra Imports, and Mike Nelson Coffee Consulting in Portland, Oregon. Though the original partnership has since evolved, the legacy of their work continues to inspire us. By sourcing and roasting CoPC coffees, we aim to honor the foundation they built and carry forward their vision for a more equitable coffee industry.
