This medium roast blend features seasonally rotating coffees meant to balance chocolate notes with mild fruit flavors. Expect a splendidly sweet and easy cup to drink any way you brew it!

The current combination of two washed coffees from South America (Ecuador and Colombia) presents the sweetness of candied orange, the creamy comfort of Milk Duds, and the gentle florality of chamomile.

My coffee blending philosophy focuses on achieving a desired end goal in the cup rather than chasing after a formula. Blends often combine two or more “good” (but not “great”) coffees together in order to create something even better than the single parts on their own. This approach allows for some coffees to find their place in a line-up where they otherwise might not be featured as high-quality, single-origin options. I think putting two great coffees together doesn’t diminish their stand-alone quality. The right combination of coffee blend buddies can accentuate the best of each other’s tastiest parts and also fill in flavor gaps. When skillfully blended, very different coffees can make for a great partnership (not a competition).
